Itinerary: Suggested self drive, or as presented here, a private group- bus - Tour

Day 1 
Depart USA

Day 2 
Arrival in Copenhagen and transfer to hotel for check-in.  Afternoon stroll the famous walking Street Strøget.  Late afternoon visit Tivoli Gardensand perhaps enjoy a welcome dinner at Restaurant Grøften similar. 
Day 3 
After breakfast a city tour of Copenhagen. Tour ends at Rosenborg Castle, where you can see the Crown Jewels on your own, or at the Walking Street, where you can stroll through the walking street back to the hotel. Dinner IS on your own. 
Day 4 
After breakfast North Sealand Castle tour Frederiksborg Castle, Tour the Castle which today is a National Museum funded by the Carlsberg Fund. (For anyone who wishes, they may be able to attend church service in the Castle Church, while the others tour the Museum). We continue to Gilleleje Harbor, taking the bus down to the Church at Gilleleje showing how the Danish Jews were hidden before shipping them across to Sweden, saving them from capture by the occupying German Forces, during World War II, on 23 Oct 1943. See the boats which were used to transfer people across to Sweden. Enjoy a late lunch at Karen and Maries Restaurant, in Gilleleje Harbor. After lunch drive to Elsinore.
Day 5 
After breakfast the bus departs at 10:00am for Kronborg - Hamlets castle, where we will see the dungeons and Holger Danske (Holger the Dane) who forever is protecting his people of Denmark. After a snack stop the bus departs Roskilde Cathedral, where the majority of the Danish Royal Families are resting. After an hour stop we continue to Odense where we make a stop to see HC. Andersen's Museum. Late Afternoon we continue to Ribe. We will arrive about 7:30pm. After dinner on your own, it is possible to take a walk through the old town of Ribe with the night watchman. Dinner is on your own. 
Day 6 
After Breakfast you can see the Ribe Cathedral on your own, right across the street from the hotel. We will leave Ribe at about 10:00am and stop for two hours at Legoland. At noon-time we will continue the drive to Ålborg. After a quick change the bus will take us to The Ålborg Airbase for a buffet dinner in one of the old Hangars, enjoying the entertainment by the US Air Force Band in Europe and the Danish Military Orchestra. The bus will return us to the hotel. 
Day 7 
After breakfast at the hotel we will walk to Duus Wine Cellar at 0830am. We will be inducted into the Chr. IV Guild, (by invitation only and subject to approval). We MUST be seated 15 minutes prior to the induction ceremony! You will be inducted in the world famous Chr. IV Guild. After the ceremony we are invited to a reception at 1100 at the Town Hall, by the Mayor. We will return to the Hotel just before lunch, where we are joining the Danish-American Club's luncheon at Hotel Hvide Hus. In the evening, you are invited to attend a concert in the Ålborg Concert Hall, given by the United States Air Force Band in Europe and the Ålborg Symphony Orchestra. The concert hall is located right next to the hotel. 

Day 8 
After breakfast for those who wishes you can walk to the Budolpi Cathedral in Ålborg. There is a Danish- American service of worship starting at 0845 andis finished at 0935. At 1045 our bus departs for Rebild Bakker (Hills). At 1200 the Rebild national Park Society Tent luncheon is served. At 1:30pm we walk down into the valley and join the celebration which goes on until about 4:30pm.

There is entertainment in the Hills. The Rebild Ceremony, with American and Danish Principal speakers, music and entertainment and community singing takes place.16.30 bus returns to Ålborg. You will have a chance to refresh before the Gala dinner. We must walk down to the Congress hall located 200 meters from the hotel and be there at 7:00pm. Dinner Dance starts at 7:00pm in the Ålborg Congress and Culture Center. At 9:00pm the Kildepark is illuminated by thousands of torches and at midnight there is a fireworks display. Pricing subject to seasonality and availability. Days in Aalborg based on 4th of July celebration,The largest such celebration outside the United States. If other dates are chosen, these days will be re-scheduled for other activities. 

Day 9 
Departure for Frederikshavn and Skagen. We will visit the Sand Covered Church, the Museum of Skagen and have a late lunch at Skagen harbor on your own. Mid afternoon continuing to Hirtshals for a Ferry to Kristiansand, Norway departing Hirtshals at about 6:30pm. Have dinner on board. 

Day 10    
After early breakfast we continue the drive to Stavanger, for the Fjordline Ferry to Bergen. Departure from Stavanger is about 11:30, making several stops on the way. We arrive at Bergen at about 3:30pm and walk to our hotel. The bus follows us on a land route and brings our luggage. We will check into the SAS Radisson Norge Hotel

Floibanen - Funicular  - Bergen                                       

Dinner is on your own. You may wish to take a ride on the Funicular to the top of the mountain, offering a birds eye view of Bergen.  A great place for an evening meal as well.

Day 11 
After breakfast bus will depart for city tour and visit Grieg's home. Lunch will be on your own and it is recommended to enjoy some fresh seafood at the wharf. Continue about 1400 by bus to the Fjord Express boat taking us to Sognedal.
Day 12 
After breakfast continue across the mountains to Oslo. Late afternoon and evening on your own. Overnight at the Royal Christiania Hotel Oslo. 
Day 13 
After breakfast take a 3 hour city tour including a visit to the Viking Ship and Thor Heyerdahl Museums and Frogner Park the Sculpture Park. Evening free to stroll Carl Johan or Bryggen. Dinner on your own.                          
Day 14 
After breakfast continue trip up to Lillehammer. See the open-air museum, the ski jump facility and ice rink used in the winter OL. walk through the village of Lillehammer. We will have about an hour to stroll Lillehammer's walking streets before we continue by bus to Mora in Sweden. Enjoy dinner and overnight at First Hotel Mora 
Day 15 
After breakfast we will stop at a Dalar Horse factory where the famous Swedish Dalar Horses are made. At about 11:00am we will continue to Stockholm, via Uppsala. First we will see the Cathedral at Upsala, before arriving at Stockholm. Late Afternoon we check into the First Hotel Reisen located in The Old Town - Gamla Stan. Dinner is on your own. 
Day 16 
After breakfast have a city tour of Stockholm. The afternoon is on your own to explore Gamla Stan (The Old Town). We will have a joint dinner in the Restaurant Fem Små Hus. Overnight at First Hotel Reisen in Gamla Stan. 
Day 17 
After breakfast board the bus for a tour down the east coast of Sweden to Öland. Then we will go into Växjö the Glass country and see Örefors Glassworks. 
Day 18 
After breakfast the bus departs for a trip across Skaane and gets to Malmö where you will cross the new bridge between Malmö and Copenhagen. You will end at Kastrup Copenhagen Airport and check-in for your flight home.
