Japan Culinary tour Korea and Taiwan
Day 01, Friday
Depart USA on Japan Airlines for Tokyo.
Day 02, Saturday
Upon arrival with Japan Airlines our guide will meeet you and transfer you to the Keio Plaza Hotel.
Welcome dinner at a local restaurant named Origami, European kitchen.
Day 03, Sunday
After breakfast embark on a full day tour of Tokyo. visiting Asakusa Kannon Temple, a cruise on Sumida River, Kanda and Imperial Palace Plaza. In teh evening transfer to the Suchiro Restaurant
in Roppongi district for a Sukiyaki dinner. After dinner you may wish to visit some of the night spots there on your own. Overnight at the Keio Plaza.
Day 04, Monday
After breakfast take a full day tour again in Tokyo visiting Daiba, department stores in Ginza and Sumo Tournaments. Dinner will be at teh Tomie-gata restaurant feraturing Chanko nabe. Return to Hotel Keio Plaza for overnight.
Day 05, Tuesday
After breakfast full day tour again in Tokyo visiting Tokyo Metroploitan Government office, Meiji Shrine, Tea Ceremony at Kumon and Kabuki performance at Kabuki-za theater. Dinner will be served at Tama-Zishi restaurant featuring Sushi. Return to Keio Plaza Hotel for overnight.
Day06, Wednesday
After breakfast early motrning visit to Tsukiji Fish market. Mid Morning open for free time. Afternoon transfer to Tokyo station. to take bullet train to Kyoto. You will arrive at Kyoto and ytransfer to the Rihga Royal Hotel. Dinner is served at Izuei Restaurant featuring Eel.
Day 07, Thursday
After breakfast take a full day tour of Kyoto, visiting Kiyomizu Temple, sanjusangendo Temple, Nijo Castle, Heian Shrine, and Kinkakuji Temple. Dinner will be served at Tori-kyu Restautrant featuring Kaiseki. Overnight at Rihga Royal Hotel.
Day 08, Friday, May 19
After breakfast continue a full day tour excursion to Nara, visiting TodaijiTemple, Kasuga Shrine, deer Park, Kofukuji Temple and Byodoin Temple. Dinner is served at Kyo-ichi Restaurant featuring Teppanyaki. Overnight at Rihga Royal Hotel
Day 09, Saturday
After breakfast transfer to Kyoto Station and take Bullet train to Odawara arriving at Odawara station where our guide will take you for a tour in hakone, including the 5th station of Mt Fuji, a cruise on lake Hakone and see Owakudani Valley. You will check-in at the Fujiya Hotel in Hakone. Dinner will be served at teh Hotel featurinmg a European meal.
Day 10, Sunday
After breakfast leave Hakone for Kamakura and visit the greta Image Buddha. Continue to Yokohama and visit Yamashita park and China Town. After lunch transfer to the hotel in Tokyo. Lunch on your own, will be served in Jyuukei-hanten Restaurant in Yokohama featuring Chinese dishes. Overnight will be at Keio Plaza Hotel. A farewell dinner will be planned. (B/D)
Day 11, Monday
After breakfast leisure time until transfer tot he airport for your flight on Japan Airlines back to Chicago.
