Tour Cambodia,Vietnam and Laos
Day 1: Depart from Chicago or Los Angeles
We will be arriving in Bangkok on the 3 March at 11:30pm.Transfer to the hotel.Overnight at the Peninsula Hotel.
Day 2: Bangkok ( B D )
After breakfast free time in the morning for relaxation. Try the hotel SPA or the most inviting swimming pool over looking the Chao Phraya River. In the afternoon we will take the half day Rice Barge Cruise and a welcome Thai Dinner and Dance at the Piman Restaurant..
Overnight Peninsula Hotel.
Day 3: Arr. Siem Reap ( L-D )
Arrive at Siem Reap International Airport in the morning flight by ………. at 09:00 a.m, meet and welcome by English speaking guide, then transfer to visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, visit Bayon, Baphuon, Phimean Akas, Elephants and Leper King Terraces. Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit Angkor Wat and watch sunset view from the top of Phnom Bakheng Hill. Dinner at the hotel.Overnight at the Sofitel Royal Angkor.
Day 4: Siem Reap ( B-L-D )
Breakfast at hotel, visit Prasat Kravan, Banteay Kdei, Sras Srang, Ta Prohm, Ta Keo, Thommanun and Chau Say Tevoda. Lunch at hotel. In the afternoon, excursion to visit Pre Rup, East Mebon, Ta Som, Neak Poan and Preah Khan Temple. Dinner at hotel.Overnight Sofitel Royal Angkor.
Day 5: Siem Reap-Ho Chi Minh ( B-L-D )
Breakfast at hotel, visit the Silk Farm, Roluos group : Preah Ko, Lolei, Bakong Temple and Artisans d’Angkor. Lunch at hotel. In the afternoon, visit the artificial lake
( Cambodian Cultural Village ) until transfer to Siem Reap Airport on a flight to Saigon by……….. at 7:35 pm. Upon arrival, meet our guide and transfer to the hotel. Welcome dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at the New World Hotel in Saigon.
Day 6: Ho Chi Minh City ( B-L-D )
Breakfast at hotel. Full day city tour : History Museum, Central Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, Reunification Palace ( former presidential place), War museum. Lunch at local restaurant. Continue visit China town with Thien Hau Temple, Binh tay market and a alcquer workshop. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at the New World Hotel.
Day 7: Ho Chi Minh City - Tay Ninh - Cu Chi ( B-L-D )
Breakfast at hotel. Day Trip to Tay Ninh to visit Cao Dai Holy See Temple at noon-time service. Lunch at local restaurant. Proceed to Cu Chi to see the famous underground tunnels system. Back to Ho Chi Minh City for dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at the New World Hotel.
Day 8: Ho Chi Minh City - Hanoi - Halong ( B-L-D )
After breakfast morning fly VN 218 SGN/HAN at 11:30 – 13:30 to Hanoi.
Upon arrival meet and transfer to Halong . Lunch en route . Dinner at hotel. Overnight at the Halong Plaza Hotel
Day 9: Halong - Hanoi ( B-L-D )
Breakfast at hotel. Boat on Halong Bay ( 05 hours ), visit to nice grottoes. Lunch ( sea food ) on board. Back to Hanoi. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at the Melia Hanoi
Day 10: Hanoi ( B-L-D )
After breakfast , full day sightseeing of Hanoi : Ho Chi Minh mausoleums and his house, One-pillared pagoda, Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake and ngoc Son Temple, cyclo tour ( 01 hour ) around the Old quarters of Hanoi. Visit to Tran Quoc Pagoda, Quan Thanh Temple, Bat Trang pottery village. Lunch & Dinner at local restaurants. Eve : enjoy water puppet show. Overnight at the Melia Hanoi.
Day 11: Hanoi - Ninh Binh ( B-L-D )
Breakfast at hotel. Overland to Ninh Binh, visit to Dinh & Le Dynasty Temples, sampan ride through paddy fields to Tam Coc Caves and visit Bich Dong pagoda. Lunch at local restaurant. Back to Hanoi. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at the Melia Hanoi.
Day 12: Hanoi - Vientiane ( B-L-D )
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport for departure flight to Vientiane by …………,
On arrival at Wattay Airport, you are met and transferred to our centrally located Setha Palace hotel. , Vientiane is the charming and fascinating capital of Laos, the small city conjures up exotic images, with the curious mix of Lao, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, French influences. After a short rest, we start our city tour with Wat Sisaket, the oldest temple still standing in Vientiane. This amazing structure features remarkable frescoes and Buddha statues. The following sight is the former royal temple of Haw Pha Kaew, which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. We also visit the imposing Patouxai Monument well known as Vientiane's own Arc de Triomphe before continuing to the great sacred structure and symbol of Laos, That Luang Stupa.
We also have enough time to see the activities one the Mekong riverside at sunset. Lunch in the hotel and dinner at Laos restaurant with traditional show at Kua Lao. Overnight at the Settha Palace Hotel
Day 13: Vientiane - Luang Prabang ( B-L-D )
Breakfast in the hotel, the transfer to airport to take a short flight QV 635 10:30-11:10. Upon arrival at the airport, you are met and transferred to the hotel Phuvao-Pansea or simialar. Luang Prabang is perhaps the best-preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia. The tranquility and charm of this town with its splendid natural scenery and cultural sights make it one of the most delightful places to visit in Laos. After a short rest, we visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham, Wat Mai; we then climb up to the top of Phousi Hill for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River. From there, we explore Street Night bazaar, where you can find the lovely collection and handmade textile by local and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang. Lunch in local restaurant, dinner at the hotel.Overnight in Luang Prabang at Pansea Phouvao Hotel.
Day 14: Luang Prabang - Pakou - Luang Prabang ( B-L-D )
After breakfast, we enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city’s oldest temple of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represent the classical architecture of Luang Prabang temple. We then board a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a beautiful view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious of Pak Ou Caves, crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes. Along the way, we stop at the village of Ban Xang Hai, where they make the potent local rice wine. Pincic lunch by the river. On return, we take a short drive to Baan Xang Khong, Baan Xieng Lek, then to Baan Phanom, well known for its hand weaving. Dinner in local restaurant.Overnight at the Pansea Phouvao Hotel.
Day 15: Luang Prabang – Bangkok ( B )
Breakfast at hotel, free until transfer to the airport on a flight to Bangkok. We will arrive in Bangkok in the afternoon and transfer to the hotel. Free time for your last minute shopping.Overnight at the Peninsula Hotel
Day 16: Depart Bangkok
We will be departing home in the morning . We will be leaving the hotel at 4:00 am for our flight back to Chicago or Los Angeles. We hope everyone had a great time. END OF TOUR
