ITINERARY
Day01 Beijing
Arrive in Beijing
Day02 Beijing - Urumqi
Fly to Urumqi.
Day03 Urumqi - Kashgar
Drive to Tianshan Mountains, visit the Heavenly Lake, then visit the Xinjiang Museum, then catch the flight to Kashgar, a cultural center of the Uygur nationality in ancient times and an important oasis city.
Day04 Kashgar - Urumqi
Visit the biggest Islamic mosque in China - the Idkah Mosque, the typical architecture - Apak Hoja Tombs, also named the Fragrant Concubine Tombs, Grand Bazar that is an international market linking the east and the west, then you will visit a Uygur family. After dinner fly back to Urumqi.
Day05 Urumqi - Turpan
Drive to the Southern Mountains valley, a grassland, visit the Kazak yurt, then drive to Turpan visit the irrigation system - Karez, Emin mineret. enjoy the Uygur singing and dancing.
Day06 Turpan - Dunhuang
Visit the ruins of ancient city Gaochang, Beziklik Thousand Buddha Grottoes, ancient Astana Tombs, the Flaming Mountains. Then catch the night train to Dunhuang.
Day07 Dunhuang
Drive to Dunhuang, visit Mogao Grottoes, Minsha Hill, Crescent Moon Lake.
Day08 Dunhuang - Jiayuguan
Drive to Jiayuguan, visit the Great Wall of Jiayuguan.
Day09 Jiayuguan - Lanzhou
Fly to Lanzhou, the capital of Gansu privince, city sightseeing.
Day10 Lanzhou - Xiahe
Drive to the county of Xiahe, visit the Tibetan holy land - Lapuleng Lamasery.
Day11 Xiahe - Lanzhou
Drive to Lanzhou, visit the Yellow River.
Day12 Lanzhou - Xi'an
Fly to Xi'an in the morning, visit the Terracotta Warriors, the ancient city wall.
Day13 Xi'an - Shanghai
Fly to Shanghai, visit the Bund, Yu Gardens.
Day14 Shanghai
Leave Shanghai for your hometown.
