Day 1 Saturday.
Departure from Chicago on SAS to Copenhagen, arriving the next morning at 07:30 connecting directly to Stockholm.
Day 2 Sunday.
After arrival at Stockholm mid morning, take a bus to the downtown terminal and check into the Frey's Hotel right next to the terminal. The day is on your own. It is recommended to stroll
into the Old City "Gamla Stan". and se all the interesting shops and old buildings. This is a good place to take in dinner on your own.
Day 3 Monday
After Breakfast why not visit the Vasa Ship, the 1000year old ship raised from the bottom of Stockholm Harbour. You may also wish to see the sights in Stockholm, the City Hall, the Royal Palace and much more. Late afternoon you will go to the pier and board The Viking Line
ship bound for Helsinki. Departure is at 6:00pm. Enjoy a buffet dinner and perhaps a visit to the casino.
Day 4 Tuesday
After breakfast you will dock at approximately 8:00am. After clearing the formalities you may wish to take a 3 hour city, on you own , based on seat in coach guided tour, of Helsinki, or do some
local sights on your own. The Rock Church, The Cathedral and The Sibilius Park are very nice sights to see.Early afternoon be prepared to reboard the ship and depart for Stockholm
at 5:00pm.
Day 5 Wednesday
After an early breakfast, your ship docks at 09:00am and you walk through the formalities and take a taxi (on your own) to the airport bus terminal, next to the Frey's Hotel. You will proceed to go to Copenhagen Your SAS flight leaves for Copenhagen mid morning. You should take a bus will transfer to the Absalon Hotel. In Copenhagen you may want to enjoy a stroll down the famous
walking street "Stroeget" and perhaps have dinner in Nyhavn (The waterfront).
Option:
Stay in Stockholm your last night and visit the 1000 year old Vasa Ship, raised from the bottom of the Stockholm Harbor. You may also wish to see the sights in Stockholm, the City Hall, the Royal
Palace and much more. In the evening it is recommended to visit
Day 6 Thursday
After an early breakfast got to the airport for your flight home.If you are in Stockholm the flight leaves already at approximately 8:00am. Your SAS flight departs Copenhagen at 10:40am . You need to check-in 1 1/2 hour prior. In Copenhagen, If you get to the airport by 9:00am you have enough time to do some last minute duty free shopping, Copenhagen Airport shopping center being one of the best in Europe. If boarding in Stockholm you will have an hour in Copenhagen for duty free shopping. This is better than at Stockholm.
